Heyo! Here's a short check-in from me! It's less than a week left until I fly to Britain and (I keep saying this) but I have SO MUCH TO DO! Today I've done lots, wrapped presents, started packing my luggage and I've made my replacement to a gingerbread house. I've used salty pretzel sticks, cereal, crackers, almonds, candy and lots of frosting to create my wooden lodge. The pretzel sticks are amazing for making a log-like house. And I have to say, I've never been this happy with a Christmas DIY project before, even though it took me quite a few hours. I promised last year that I'd go all in, and here's the result! All you need is a glue gun, any edible material except gingerbread and some imagination and you are good to go! Maybe I should put some fairy lights inside and see what effect that will give the house. Anyway, I am super happy and it was totally worth the time and money.
